Is it alzheimer's disease? no, it's corticol basal dementia

The "CBD" is a rare form of sub-cortical degeneration dementia. The diagnosis is difficult, especially in the early stages of the disease, in fact it requires special attentions and accurate comparisons with the other dementia types. This study points out that it's possible to make an accurate diagnosis through proper clinical evaluation and especially with a careful collection of information. It's also fundamental a good and functional service network, it will allow a good relationship with the family for the diagnosis' communication as well as facilitation the management of the patient and caregiver's need. © Società Italiana di Gerontologia e Geriatria.
