A Pyroelectric transducerseems the best compromise between dimensions (being passivesystem it doesn’t require power supply), sensitivity, timeresponses and large scale of integration In this paper we takeinto consideration the application of ferroelectric polymer inmicro-fluidic systems with emphasis on pyroelectric transducertechnology and measurements. Indeed, the operatingtemperature range is suitable for the most biologicalapplications.
