Epileptic seizures and psychiatric disorders often coexist in the same epileptic patient, especially in temporal lobe epilepsy. We report an epileptic patient with cerebral hemiatrophy and an association of ictal and interictal psychiatric disorders. This case suggests a similar temporal- limbic lobe lability influenced by environmental reactive factors and antiepileptic drug treatment.

Abstract
Epileptic seizures and psychiatric disorders often coexist in the same epileptic patient, especially in temporal lobe epilepsy. We report an epileptic patient with cerebral hemiatrophy and an association of ictal and interictal psychiatric disorders. This case suggests a similar temporal- limbic lobe lability influenced by environmental reactive factors and antiepileptic drug treatment.File in questo prodotto:
