Small Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is an uncommon urinary tract neoplasia that is usually found in different extrapulmonary locations such as the gastrointestinal tract, head and neck, thymus, breast and skin. Here we describe a case of a patient who presented a small bladder cancer with hematuria. The patient was submitted to cystectomy and ureterorectal diversion, the examination of the histologic specimen was performed by histologic, immunohistochemical and ultrastructural examination that revealed a bladder small cell carcinoma. The patient showed an excellent response to adjuvant chemotherapy, an association of Etoposide-cisplatin (VP16-P).
