Abstract
The study, started in DISMED rehabilitation center of Messina, proposes the design and application of a multisensory activity, based on embodiment cognition paradigm, that is an embodied mind (Smith & Sheya, 2010) as a possible psychoeducational trajectory for activating effective rehabilitative/habilitation models, educational/didactic interventions, which by combining the sensorimotor dynamics with contextual and bodily information, aim to restore functioning of adaptation processes and, consequently, educational success in subjects with adaptive problems (intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders). This is becausetheinterrelation of the above processes offers itself as a plateau forexploring related cognitive domains, such as memory, attention, motivation, significant in school learning processes (Barsalau, 2010; Rey, 2011).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
